Shelly-Anne Bacsu was last seen on May 3, 1983 walking down Highway 16 towards her home near Highway 40 in Hinton, AB. Prior to leaving the residence she had been at, Shelly-Anne called her mother to let her know she would be home soon and asked her to make her a snack. She never returned home and some of her clothing was later found along Highway 40.
